Alysson Cochenour-Smith’s journey with Vacaville Christian School has come full circle. After spending 14 years as a student from preschool through graduation with the Class of 2013, she now serves on the same campus as an Extended Care teacher, investing in the next generation of students.

New to Vacaville Christian School this year, Amanda Thomasson joined the faculty following her family’s move to California as part of a military transfer to Travis Air Force Base. What began as a relocation quickly became an unexpected opportunity to step into the classroom.

Hillary Campbell brings both enthusiasm and structure to her work at Vacaville Christian School. Now in her third year, she teaches Geometry, Algebra I, and serves as the Associated Student Body teacher, a role that allows her to connect with students both academically and relationally.

Susan McIntosh’s path into teaching was anything but predictable. What began as a calling to missions eventually unfolded into a lifelong journey in education, one that she now continues at Vacaville Christian School.

Rodney Owens brings a unique blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and ministry experience to his work at Vacaville Christian School. Since joining the faculty in December 2023, he has invested in middle school students through both mathematics and cinematic arts.

For Julia Stone, music education is inseparable from purpose. Now in her second year at Vacaville Christian School, she brings both passion and intentionality to her work with band and choir students across elementary and middle school.
