Middle School

At Vacaville Christian Middle School, students in grades 6–8 are challenged academically, encouraged spiritually, and supported as they grow in confidence, character, and purpose. Through engaging academics, athletics, fine arts, leadership, service, and meaningful relationships, students discover their God-given gifts while building a strong foundation for high school and beyond.

Known. Challenged. Encouraged.

Middle school is a season of tremendous growth, and at Vacaville Christian School, students are known, challenged, and encouraged every step of the way. Our Christ-centered community helps students grow in confidence, character, and faith. Through caring relationships, teacher support, and opportunities for additional tutoring and workshops, students are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Students are encouraged to think critically, lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and discover how their God-given gifts can make a meaningful impact.

Our goal is to prepare students not only for success in high school, but for a lifetime of faith, purpose, and servant leadership.

Building a Strong Academic Foundation

At Vacaville Christian Middle School, students are challenged with a rigorous, Christ-centered curriculum that builds the knowledge, study habits, and critical thinking skills needed for success in high school and beyond.

Our students take core courses in English, mathematics, science, history, and Bible while exploring electives that encourage creativity, collaboration, and personal growth. Advanced academic opportunities challenge students, and select courses in mathematics, Spanish, and American Sign Language allow students to earn high school credit while still in middle school.

By the time students enter Vacaville Christian High School, they are confident learners, prepared for advanced coursework and ready to pursue the many academic opportunities that lie ahead.

Middle School Resources

Vacaville Christian School offers extended care for students in grades K–8, providing middle school students with a safe, supervised environment before and after the school day.

Middle school students have time to complete homework, read, socialize with friends, and participate in recreational activities, all under the supervision of our caring staff.

Our extended care program provides the flexibility families need while giving parents confidence that their students are safe, engaged, and well cared for.

Middle school students are encouraged to get involved through a variety of clubs that foster leadership, friendship, creativity, and service. Past offerings have included Student Council (elected), National Junior Honor Society (by qualification and invitation), Chess Club, Debate Club, Cooking Club, and other interest-based organizations. Club offerings vary from year to year based on student interest and faculty sponsorship.

Clubs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, build lasting friendships, and develop leadership skills beyond the classroom.

Vacaville Christian School is committed to developing students who live out their faith through service. Each year, students participate in mission and community service projects that provide opportunities to make a meaningful impact in our community and beyond.

As part of our missions program and Bible classes, middle school and high school students are required to complete a minimum of 20 volunteer service hours each school year.

Throughout the year, VCS places a special emphasis on giving back to the local community. Students from Preschool through High School participate in food, clothing, toy, and hygiene item drives to support organizations such as Mission Solano, Alpha Pregnancy Center, local food banks, and other community ministries.

VCS also partners with The Leaven to provide tutoring and academic support for K–8 students in our community.
