Tell us about your family’s VCS history.

David attended VCS from 5th-12th grade and graduated in 1998. Mikey, Ally, Lauren, and Olivia (our daughter’s children) attended VCS from preschool – 8th grade.

I worked at VCS for 31 years!  My first 8 years were spent as a kindergarten teacher, then the next 23 years in administration-first as VP of the Elementary Department (2 years), then Principal of the Elementary Department (21 years)!

What do you love about VCS?

VCS is a loving community that envelops you like family!  The teachers know and love the children individually and care that each one reaches their maximum potential.

Why did you choose VCS for your children?

VCS was chosen because it provided a Christian education that would nourish the whole child-spiritually, mentally, and physically.  Being able to hear God’s word, while learning about the world He created, is a rich environment in which a child can grow.

In what ways did you see your children grow in their faith as a result of their experiences at VCS?

Definitely Christian character qualities have been cultivated with a strong desire to serve others.

What is the one word your family would use to describe the Vacaville Christian School experience?

Distinctive, Unique-very special.  It is hard to choose one word for such an all encompassing experience!  The love of Jesus shines brightly through the teachers and staff!

What would you tell other parents who are considering enrolling their children at VCS?

VCS provides a solid Christian education which focuses on the whole child!  You will never be sorry that you gave your child a gift that will last into eternity!  Cultivating hearts and minds to love God is priceless!
