How many years did you attend VCS?

13 years (K-12)

What are your best memories from your time at VCS?

The VCS community was a family. I grew up with my class and it was comforting.

Did you grow in your personal faith as a result of your experiences at VCS?

My home was my solid faith base, and being in a Christ-centered school supported that.

Please share your experiences since graduating.

I went to William Jessup and graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and minored in Theology, then returned to VCS to help in any way I could. I started as a substitute, and now I am a coach, and the AP Coordinator and Administrative Support.

What advice would you give to a student considering attending VCS?

I would say that you will be pushed academically and morally. There needs to be an understanding that VCS wants the best from you, and we will help you realize your full potential, but you must buy into the process.

Don’t be afraid of something different. By different I mean the staff cares about your heart. They care about you as a person, not just a student.

VCS is a loving community that envelops you like family! The teachers know and love the children individually and care that each one reaches their maximum potential.

The best part about VCS is the atmosphere that it provides for every student. In every section of the school, the staff and faculty care for and mentor each student.
