High school football players in navy and red uniforms line up before a play on the field.

Junior | Defensive End
Jersey Number 44

Anthony Todd has spent the past six years building more than just strength and skill on the football field at Vacaville Christian School. As a junior defensive end wearing jersey number 44, his journey reflects growth, discipline, and the relationships that define team culture.

For Anthony, football has always been about more than the game itself. “My favorite part of playing football is the lifelong friendships I’ve made,” he shares. Through team camaraderie, he has developed leadership skills and a deep sense of accountability. Whether uplifting teammates or setting a standard of work ethic, Anthony embraces the responsibility of helping lead his team.

One of his most memorable moments this season came during a pivotal game against Valley High School. On a crucial fourth down play, Anthony delivered a momentum shifting sack that turned over possession and energized the Falcons. The play became a defining moment not only for the game, but for the resilience and determination of the team.

“It reminds me that I always have Christ as my North Star.”

Beyond game day, Anthony’s leadership is visible in the daily habits that often go unnoticed. From the weight room to the practice field and film sessions, he is committed to setting a consistent example. His focus is not only on personal performance, but on helping teammates strive to become the best versions of themselves.

Anthony credits much of his mindset and success to his father, whom he describes as his biggest supporter, mentor, and coach. “He always pushes me to be the best version of myself possible,” Anthony explains. The lessons of leadership and discipline instilled from a young age continue to shape both his athletic and personal development.

A verse that guides Anthony’s perspective is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” The message serves as a steady reminder of perseverance, purpose, and faith. “It motivates me through life and reminds me that I always have Christ as my North Star.”

Outside of football, Anthony enjoys powerlifting, working on projects, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to new places. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue Division I football while studying business, with the long term goal of earning his MBA and one day owning his own financial firm.

Through discipline, leadership, and faith, Anthony continues to embody the qualities that define Falcon athletics.
