Message from the Head of School
Dear Vacaville Christian Community,
Our school community commemorated a unique sequence of events this week, celebrating our graduating seniors on Monday, and promoting some of our youngest students (in Kindergarten and Kindergarten Readiness) on Tuesday and Thursday. I was deeply affected as I reflected on the importance of continuity in education, especially in ideas. At VCS, you have a special opportunity as parents to partner with a school, preschool through 12th grade, who not only prepares students for excellence in college and career, but instills a lifelong, biblical, counter-cultural worldview. I considered some of the many truths we espouse as an educational institution:
- Our students are created divinely in the image of God with a unique purpose.
- The faith of our students is sustained through reason and supported by science and intellectual discovery.
- Truth is absolute and grounded in God’s Word.
- Parents are the primary educators of their children, and as a school, we have a responsibility to partner with parents in this important endeavor.
Last Friday, we celebrated our middle school and high school student athletes at our annual ESPY’s award ceremony. I am extremely proud of all that our athletes, teams, and coaches accomplished this year! And we are all incredibly grateful to the VCS Booster Club for their efforts in coordinating a successful event.
Please enjoy your Memorial Day and take a moment to honor those who have served our country, sometimes giving all, to provide us the liberty we hold so dear.

Important Staff Update
We’re excited to announce that effective for the 2023-24 school year, all full-time contracted K-12 faculty will be receiving a 100% tuition discount for their children. This is an important step in increasing compensation and benefits for our staff, and we are confident that this will not only be a blessing to our teachers, but an important retention tool as well.
Unity & Belonging at VCS
In continuing our tradition of providing an excellent Christ-centered education, we’ve launched our new initiative “Diversity, Unity and Belonging” here at VCS. Click here to view Dr. Aaron Howard’s chapel message, and listen to the podcast.
