Nehemiah Project...Moving our school forward into the incredible destiny that God has in store for our children.

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men". 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

What started as a 52 day commitment has quickly grown legs and has now become a place to plug in regularly. The Nehemiah Project has been and continues to be a vital part of our growth here at VCS. This project has brought many people together from different backgrounds and life experiences, all of which have made positive contributions to VCS. Aside from truly partnering with Home we have worked together to improve our VCS Parent Handbook, our lines and methods of communication, and developed surveys to better understand how we serve our community.  These are just the beginning!

The Nehemiah Team consists of faculty, staff and parents, who pray, seek God's face and message out the attributes of VCS to our community.

Nehemiah Survey Results:
Over the Holidays the surveys were pilling in. We are closing in on nearly 200 at last viewing. Not bad our first shot at this! The responses are informative and encouraging. I enjoy seeing how we are doing from a customers view point and how these opinions compare to how we think we are doing. My prayer is more families begin to share their opinions through these surveys. I am charged by the input!

Being aware is the first step in improving, parents, thanks for step one! Step two is on us. We have work to do.  Thank you for partnering!
