#4520 Bible 10 Life of Christ

LifeQuest is a Bible study course for senior high students in the 10th grade.  It is a thorough chronology of the life of Christ beginning with eternity past and ending with eternity future with its natural application to developing spiritual maturity.  The focus of this course is the life of Jesus Christ. These studies are carefully crafted into age-appropriate lessons, with strong emphasis on the application of the life of Christ to the challenges students face as they continue their high school careers and become young adults.

TruthQuest is a Bible study course for senior high students in the eleventh grade.  The focus of this course is the basic doctrines of the Bible carefully crafted into age appropriate lessons with strong emphasis on the application of truths to daily life.  The first semester of study focuses on the doctrine of God, the Bible, man, sin, salvation, and Christ.  The second semester presents the doctrines of the Holy Spirit, Christian life, the church, heaven and hell, and future events.  These studies will reflect a traditional approach to doctrine, but great effort will be expended to creatively present the truths at high school level and to apply truths to real-life challenges faced by teens.

#4560 Bible 12 - Issues of Christianity

Course Fee:

This course is designed to allow High School Seniors to examine various controversial points of view within Christianity with the goal of both strengthening their own faith and better understanding the viewpoints of other Christian traditions.  Initial teaching is given on each topic to develop understanding of the central doctrines involved as well as to define specific areas of controversy.  Students then go to their own pastors to interview them on these issues and write a report on their church’s position.  This is followed by verbal presentations to the class from each student so that all hear presentations from the various churches represented.  By the end of the year students will have developed deeper understanding of a variety of Christian doctrines and will also understand more clearly the distinctives of a variety of Christian traditions, especially their own.

#4580 Bible 9 OT & NT Survey

Course Fee:

FaithQuest is a Bible study course for senior high students in the ninth grade.  It presents the unifying theme of scripture – God’s Plan of Redemption.  The students will survey the Bible based on this “Big Picture”.  The first semester study focuses on the need and nation of redemption.  Jewish history is traced through the exile stage.  The second semester begins with the return from exile and proceeds through a survey of the New Testament.  Through the lives of Old and New Testament saints, the students will learn that God’s faithfulness leads to the development of faith and subsequent faithfulness in the lives of His people.  The course is designed with the goal of establishing Christ-like character as students pursue their own quest of faith and develop habits of faithfulness in their own lives.
