VCS Curriculum: Excellence in Education
Vacaville Christian Schools (VCS) is dually accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. These organizations not only equip administrators and teachers to effectively teach, they ensure schools like VCS meet a level of excellence by encouraging school improvement through a continued process of evaluations and recommendations.
From infant to high school, VCS seeks to provide a quality Christian education in a nurturing environment, equipping young people to achieve their full potential in life and in practical service to Jesus Christ. Each year, VCS students participate in the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT) which is administered by the school in the spring. When results come in, our overall test results show our students score 1 to 4 grade levels above the national average.
In addition to the quality of education at VCS, our faculty members are dedicated to prepare students for success and to model personal and moral integrity. They desire to meet individual needs and to encourage character building, values, and responsibilities as they partner with parents and the local church. Our caring faculty members are qualified teachers with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree as well as a teaching certificate (or are actively seeking their certificate). They are also certified every two years through ACSI.
Vacaville Christian Schools is a private, co-educational, non-denominational Christian school in which Christian values are taught and practiced in every aspect of campus life. Students attend weekly chapel services, study and read the Bible, and are encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
