VCS 8th Grade Boys Basketball A Team Takes Championship Title
Our boys are the 2009 - 2010 CCL Champions with a 79 - 63 win against Valley Christian which put the finishing touches on an unblemished CCL record.
They were able to beat Valley on their own floor. The boys were behind by 5 points at halftime but, came out in the 3rd quarter and outscored their opponents 25-6 to bolt into the lead which they never relinquished. They maintained control of the game in the fourth quarter and cruised to victory!
Championship Game MVP - Jordan Sisneros 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.
The following exceptional, young men make up this team: Stephen Gloudeman, Andrew Grabowski, Luke Spinardi, Matthew Burnett, Scott Gardner, Jordan Sisneros, Steven Lum, Corey McCormack, Isaiah Dolcee, Austin Beall, Kristofer Petnicki and Ian Thompson. This team was coached by Mr. Robert Garlington.
Well done gentleman we are very proud of all of you! Bragging rights and the trophy are ours for another year!!
