Extended/Day Care Program

Kindergarten through 8th Grade Extended Care Program

We recognize working parents have need of quality care for their children before and after school. VCS Extended Care takes pride in providing for that need. The focus of our program is to give children an environment where that has opportunities to learn new things, meet new friends and have fun "just being a kid."

Our school age program is designed to provide children with opportunities to use and expand their knowledge obtained in school. We strive to enrich each student's environment with fun activities and projects. We know how hard your child has worked all day, so we have created a recreational program that completes their day.

Trained and dedicated staff are on hand to lead your child through homework, arts and crafts, group games, team building activities and much more.

We know the importance of children having choices, so Fridays are "Kid's Club Day." Students are allowed to pick from 6 clubs designed to unlock new worlds of learning. Our current clubs are:

  • Origami
  • Cooking
  • Science
  • Bible Study
  • Drama

Clubs Benefit Children by:

  • Improving Social skills, positive self-esteem, and confidence.
  • learning about hobbies and exercising creativity.
  • Developing leadership and decision making skills.
  • Increasing critical thinking through project work and analysis.
