Welcome to the 2011-2012 High School Course Selection and Scheduling Page! 2011 – 2012 Course Catalogs and Course Request paperwork was sent home April 15th will all students. Should you desire an additional copy, you can come to our office or download your appropriate grade level form and the Course Catalog to complete your course selection for the 2011-2012 school year.
Please read the course descriptions in the High School Course Catalog for information regarding each of the classes you are interested in. We will register for classes in order of grade level and then in order of when the students reenrolled. Incoming seniors will begin course selection on May 2, 2011. We hope to get all incoming seniors, juniors, and sophomores through the course selection process that week. We anticipate incoming freshmen will be making course selections the week of May 9th and we expect to be finished with the entire course request process by May 12th. Students will need to bring their signed forms with them to the course selection time period for their grade level. We will give each grade level a heads up as we are about to begin their grade level. If you are registering for an AP class you will need a signed AP Contract. If you are applying for Chapel Leadership, the entire application packet (student portion, HS Admin portion, and Pastor Recommendation portion) is due to the HS Office NLT noon on April 26, 2011. Auditions will be after school on Thursday (not Wed.), April 28, 2011, in room 104. Students interested in auditioning will need to be available at that time.
Please note that it is possible that a particular class may be full or may not fit in your schedule. Please be prepared to have two alternate choices. When the students go through the course request process, they will be given a tentative schedule. In the event changes need to be made on the master schedule, it is possible that their schedule may change, but we will do our best to keep the schedule as close to the original as possible. Final schedules will be given to the students in early August. We are looking forward to a great school year!
