Vacaville Christian Schools is a private, co-educational, inter-denominational Christian school run by a self-governing Board of Directors. The Board is the authority of all school policy. Administration is given the authority by the Board to carry out the day-to-day functions and policies of the school. Board members are chosen from interested persons who qualify and apply under Board procedure and policy.

Dean D. Thorn, affiliated with VCS since 1994, became a Board member in 2003 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board. He and his wife Michelle have three children who attend VCS. Dean holds a B.S. in Construction Management; is a Real Estate Consultant and is the President of Thorn Enterprises, Inc. Dean's Board portfolio and VCS activities include Building Committee and Assistant Coaching of various sports. |

Ron Myska, affiliated with VCS since 2005, became a Board member in 2007 and currently serves as a Vice Chairman of the Board. He and his wife, Michelle, have four children, three which attend VCS. Ron has attended Golden Gate University where he studied business, is a member of several professional associations and is the President of All-Points Petroleum. John McFadden, affiliated with VCS since 1997, became a Board member in 2008 and currently serves as Secretary. He and his wife Vicki have five children who currently attend VCS. John holds a B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley and currently works as a Financial Services Rep for New York Life as a retirement strategist. John's VCS activities include the Business Partners program, coaching boy's elementary basketball and Board President of American Youth Football League (AYF). |

Dr. Bejan Pazdel, affiliated with VCS since 2002, became a Board member in 2005 and currently serves as a Member at Large. He and his wife Darelyn have three children attending VCS. Bejan holds a B.S in Molecular Biology and is a Dr. of Chiropractic Medicine. Dr. Pazdel's board portfolio and VCS activities include chairing the Pathway to Promise Campaign. |

Sheilah Tucker, affiliated with VCS since 1992, became a Board member in 2009 and currently serves as a Member at Large. She and her husband Joe have two children, a 2004 graduate of VCS and one still at VCS. Sheilah holds a B.A. in Speech Communications and is a REALTOR with Gateway Realty. She is an active member in many professional organizations. Her portfolio at VCS include co-chairing the VCS Golf Tournament and founding member of the VCS Business Partners Program. |

Donna Martian, affiliated with VCS since 1999, became a Board member in 2010 and currently serves as a Member at Large. She and her husband, Tom, have three children, two which attend VCS. Donna is a full-time wife and mother, with 20 years of Administration experience. Her portfolio at VCS includes being a former employee as the Elementary Registrar, participation with the VCES Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF), a member of the Advancement Committee and a member of the Finance Committee. |

Scott Jacobs, affiliated with VCS since 2002, became a Board member in 2010 and currently serves as a Member at Large. He and his wife, Lu have 5 children of whom 2 attend VCS. Scott holds a B.A. in Broadcast Management from the University of Southern California and has been a local business owner in Vacaville for over 17 years with Country Visions, Inc. (Franchisor of Apricot Lane Boutiques). His portfolio at VCS includes Advancement, Marketing & Graphic design, Website development, Pathway to Promise, Destiny, school fundraising events and the Nehemiah Project. |
